So, I decided that I would publicise some of my favs here in my journal.
Please don't get offended if you don't appear in here. Pieces were picked for multiple reasons and was not done by favortism to the author.


So, the genre of this journal art promotions is FINAL FANTAST VI.

So, to kick it off, I've got some Ultros love.

Recreating the Battle scene on the river with Ultros fighting Sabin, Edgar, Banon, and Terra.
A dynamic shot of this fight with very nice details within the characters via their poses and their outfits.

We then have another artist who has drawn an interprettion of the scene immediatly after Sabin has jumped into the water.
The expressions of Terra, Edgar, and Banon really make this piece something to scene along with the simple yet bold colors. A humorous and colorful piece. [link]

Next up, we have a lovely lineart progression through all 4 battles with Ultros.
Each battle has a wonderful composition, filled with multiple dynamic elements. A little humorful detail in the background helps keep the mood in the right place within all 4 scenes. This piece just has absotuly gorgeous character designs and compositions. You're a fool if oyu don't check it out! [link]

But, what is Final fantays VI, without it's Dissidia representator Terra? I've stumbled across some lovely pics of her recently.

This is a gorgeous piece of art of Terra contemplating in Moblize. The piece definatly has Amano influence, yet the piece itself is very clearly the artists own style. Delicate details in Terra's costume and the intricate yet simple background lead to a very wonderful piece. [link]

The next Terra piece, is a subtle beauty. A gorgeous array of colors dance throughout and really help create a clam and contemplative mood. The pose only accents the mood. Ovrall a gorgeous subtle piece, full of wonderful colors. [link]

Next on the list a portrayel of Celes. The artists opted for her Amano costume(Yay Amano Celes), but they drew her differently than I have seen before. They drew her in a FFIX style creating an intrigueing mix of a character. Plus, they've added more beads to the outfit in a way that complements it greatly. Celes fans, definatly take a look. [link]

Next, is a fanart fo an often ignored FFVI character, but an important one. It's General Leo! For some reason people seem somewhat averse to portraying him. This artist has portrayed him in a very simple manner, working in the famous "He'd be my friend if he wasn't my enemy" quote. Simple yet powerful, it's nice to see some Leo love. [link]

Next up is a piece that uses a comparison I've been surprised hasn't been done before. Terra and Celes are the subject in this piece and the artist playes off the differences in their names, which is easy to see just by the title, Celestrial Terrestrial. Small details make this piece flow, while minimal background enhances the desired effect. [link]

Next we have a concept,which again, is not seen that often. Containing Leo, Celes, Terra, and Kefka before the unseen Emperor. The costumes have all been Amano-ized in some aspect by the artists own imagination, mainly by the addition of beads and other details. Bright colors make this piece quite interesting to look at. Finally, the last piece to be suggested is a portrayel of Locke rescuing Celes. Another piece by the same artists who did the Terra in Mobliz piece I talked about earlier, this piece is absolutly gorgeous. Again in the very distinct style of the artist, the Amano influence is still easily seen. Emotion pours out of this piece, really placing you back in this moment. Patterns and intricate details throughout this piece are astonishing and if you miss this piece, you'll regret it. [link]
